"Dividing into groups" meant something like the file tree view. After a while you might have a large \
bunch of snippets. You could then sort them and collapse everything except what you really need. In my \
case I could close the stuff for porting from java until the next project. After all, I found out that we \
c++ coders can learn a lot from java ;-)

And yes, in the meantime I also recognized the abbreviation settings. But these are two things that do \
basically the same thing in different places: inserting text by keystroke or by mouse click. Why not \
merge them? Snippets are also often only useful for certain programming languages and could be hidden \
automatically when not applicable.
