------- Additional Comments From rgruber users sourceforge net 2004-10-30 22:31 -------
I've just commited some changes in SnippetPart to CVS.

* SnippetPart now works with groups, which means that you can create groups to which you can attach \
                snippets.
* Each snippet has to be a child of a group.
* Groups can be expanded and collapsed in the main window
* On createing a snippet (either by right-clicking or by draging some text into the main window) you must \
specify a group to which the new snippet will be a child
* To move snippets between groups you need to click edit in the snippet's context menu and select a \
different group from the combobox in the appearing dialog

I'm leaving this one open as far as I really like Ewald's idea of making certain snippets depending on a \
certain programming languages.

Snippets created before this change will be imported into a "DEFAULT"-group. But just to be on the save \
side, you might want to create a backup-copy of your ~/.kde/share/config/kdevsnippetrc file before you \
first start kdevelop with this changes.
