"Dividing into groups" meant something like the file tree view. After a while you \
might have a large bunch of snippets. You could then sort them and collapse \
everything except what you really need. In my case I could close the stuff for \
porting from java until the next project. After all, I found out that we c++ coders \
can learn a lot from java ;-)

And yes, in the meantime I also recognized the abbreviation settings. But these are \
two things that do basically the same thing in different places: inserting text by \
keystroke or by mouse click. Why not merge them? Snippets are also often only useful \
for certain programming languages and could be hidden automatically when not \
applicable.
