------- Additional Comments From rgruber users sourceforge net 2004-10-30 22:31 \
------- I've just commited some changes in SnippetPart to CVS.
* SnippetPart now works with groups, which means that you can create groups to which \
you can attach snippets.
* Each snippet has to be a child of a group.
* Groups can be expanded and collapsed in the main window
* On createing a snippet (either by right-clicking or by draging some text into the \
main window) you must specify a group to which the new snippet will \
be a child
* To move snippets between groups you need to click edit in the snippet's context \
menu and select a different group from the combobox in the appearing dialog
I'm leaving this one open as far as I really like Ewald's idea of making certain \
snippets depending on a certain programming languages.
Snippets created before this change will be imported into a "DEFAULT"-group. But just \
to be on the save side, you might want to create a backup-copy of your \
~/.kde/share/config/kdevsnippetrc file before you first start kdevelop with this \
changes.
