I have a desktop and a laptop. When I'm out on business, I take the
laptop with and I need to synchronize it with my desktop. I have a
simple 'rsync' script which sync's my $HOME on both machines.

I've never had a problem with Kontact/Kmail when I've sync'd the two
machines.
