OK, that's KPilot code, looks ok.

That's pilot-link 0.12.0 or 0.12.1 there, 0.12.2 introduces consts.

Your original problem was:

/home/mike/kpilot/lib/pilotMemo.h:101: error: could not convert template 
argument ‘unpack_MemoAppInfo' to ‘int (*)(MemoAppInfo*, unsigned char*, 
unsigned int)'

I really don't know why the types are not convertible properly; to me it looks 
like they match. Which KPilot branch / svn revision are you using? Give me 
the output of "svn info"
