Hi All
I expect this has been thrashed out but I missed it if so.
I have recently re-installed the latest redhat release and I of course
am using the kde desktop. When I setup my internet connection all is
fine except I can only log into the internet as root (not very
desirable). When I try to start kppp as a normal user it asks me for
root password (quite normal up to this point) but then the window closes
and nothing..........
Hope someone has an answer as I am not too happy logged in as root while
using the internet.
Regards Pete
PS A point of interest, I was watching TV ad while recent visit to my
daughters place and an advert came on featuring a womens magazine. They
had the ad appearing to run within the window of a paint program.
Something made me look twice as it looked suspiciously like Gimp. On a
closer look it was apparent they were using Linux :) Good news hey
