I got a little farther in Beta4 installation today.  I got into KDE, but 
everything immediately started crashing.  I couldn't get KDesktop up 
(although I got the wallpaper and taskbar) and I got about 3 crashes from 
various parts of the system (including the splash screen, which was pretty 
strange).  Also, a server (kio_server, maybe?) crashed.  Kicker started, but 
I was unable to right-click (or left-click for that matter) on the desktop.  
I'm sensing I was a little more successful this time, but I'd still 
appreciate any suggestions.  (I think the reason my system behaved better is 
I installed the qt RPMs for Beta4 this time, instead of relying on the ones 
for Beta3.  It made a little bit of a difference.)
