No, konsole is NOT a shell. Konsole runs a shell or another program in
it. It's important (for us, not the average user) to use the correct
denominator to be able to distinguish between the fields of activity of
each application.

PS: I hope that was understandable. The last ten years I never had to
talk or write in english. I used it only to read documentation.
