A bit off-topic, but I've just read an article in the Economist explaining 
that some big engineer based companies (GE, BMW) are going away of the 
process of customer survey that they feel does not bring fresh ideas to 
inviting fan-customers to their engineering headquarters to work with their 
engineers on improving their product. So BMW is copying KDE way of doing 
things. It may show that our product development process is not as broken as 
some people may think.
