Whatever you do, you do _not_ want another browser. That will just confuse and
complicate matters.

Here is what is probably the solution:

When you view a web page in Konqueror, the toolbar does change a bit. You get
a few extra buttons etc. etc. Same with file browsing. I think the only main
problems are the up button and the home button. So when you're web browsing,
the up button should by _default_ not be there (so you can add it if you
want.) As for the home button problem, there should be two home buttons - one
that is used when file browsing and goes to ~ . And one for web browsing that
goes to your home page. Depending on whether you're file browsing or web
browsing, one or the other will be there. And you can add the other one if
you want as well, which makes everyone happy.

As for the menu that comes up when you right-click, I think that is a
completely different matter that needs to be sorted out throughout the whole
of KDE, not just Konqueror.
