i don't think requiring a non-Free solution is really an option. not to 
mention not many people involved w/KDE probably have shockwave editting tools 
since they, well, don't run in KDE. =)

having the presentation controled via a simple XML file is probably a good 
idea to avoid hardcoding things in.
