The source for details is the people who participated in it: students, mentors 
and the admins. What I am interested in is:

1) wrap-up of the cool stuff these students developed (for example, Rivo Laks 
developed the Icon Cache that is part of trunk and that's a speed improvement 
of XX%)
2) how the students now feel
3) a quote from one admin

Post your questions to the kde-soc@kde.org mailing list: all participants are 
there. Other sources are recent articles published, commit digests, etc.
