Metaphors are a great idea, and probably the way to go while the
sexiness of KDE 4.x is yet to be fully implemented.

Maybe some top notch screen casts of the coolest implementations that
are _yet_to_come_ if possible, very brief to build excitement and show
KDE is moving forward.

Someone running KDE in their living room, on a PS3 or mini-itx
machine. Maybe a contest in conjunction with mini-itx.com? On a sleek
Hi-Def display.
My sharp 37" LCD doesn't completely sync with any possible modelines
from the X server, but many displays can run their actual native res
from a PC input.
Running Kaffeine and Amarok fullscreen w/Home Theater from the couch!

Choosing KDE requires more of an action from a user than Gnome, Vista,
or OSX, at least for now. We can't just get them excited about
"having" KDE, they need to get worked up enough to do an install. The
only "product" we could sell would be maybe a PC from emporerlinux.com
as long as it was determined they'll install KDE.

Another way to go would be staying more abstract and promoting KDE,
focusing on the messaging exclusively, but I wanted to put in my 2
cents on the kind of commercial that I think might be most effective
today!
