On what schedule are you operating!? If there is written in the release plan:

  July 24th, 2006: Tagging KDE 3.5.4

it does NOT mean KDE 3.5.4 will be released on this date but will be tagged.

Can easily happen if MWG spreads the announcement one week too early ;-)...
