Someone please commit the attached diff.
Also, several of the events.k.o pages need pointers to spreadkde, to avoid
duplicate work. Those who create pages on SKO are primarily those who know
where the origin of all this is, so in case the corresponding SKO part goes
gold, please update the old information accordingly.
