A wiki might suffice if you could categorize it -- which i believe some let 
you do -- not really tiki style -- though news is time sensitive so you would 
want the newest to be at the top

This couldn't be done by one person but if a standardized format could be made 
up and information could be easily extracted in a sumerizable fashion -- it 
would be useful -- but i don't think we want to allow anybody to submit 
clippings since you might invite spamming by kde anti-fans -- but i think KDE 
does need a centralized storehouse for news summaries about KDE, competitors, 
the free desktop etc -- so that reactions can be swift but coordinated -- but 
not in article form -- summerized in points so that a program could be ran 
that would take all of the key points in the news on a day, or subject, or 
geo-area and combine them all.
