Maybe, but I get the impression that the acquisition hasn't happened
yet.  It would still be nice to get word from SUSE directly.  And if
not, relay concerns to Novell (and I don't mean Nat/Miguel).

initially had off-the-record comments from someone at Ximian, roughly
about how Ximian had taken over at Novell, at least culturally.  These
comments appear to have been retracted.

This is still there though:

Open source community reaction was a concern. Stone said, "So far, all
the feedback I've gotten from our folks, through Nat and Miguel (of
recent Novell acquisition Ximian) has been positive." 

Nat Friedman, a co-founder of Ximian, is the man in charge of Novell's
desktop strategy.
