Does this exist now?

If not, how about a ps-like:

$ kabcclient -c name,email1,phone1 < existing.vcf > mylist.txt

and a ps- and cut-like:

$ echo "me|me@test.com|(123) 456-6789" | kabcclient -c name,email1,phone1 -d '|' -f -

I'm a bit out of the loop--to try such things in K4, do I need to
build Akondi or does kabcclient grok vcf files?

Frankly, it seems much easier just to use abook.  :(
