In a konsole, run

	kpilotDaemon --debug 1023 > /tmp/daemon.log 2>&1
	sleep 3
	kpilot --debug 1023 > /tmp/kpilot.log 2>&1

we'll need those two files, /tmp/daemon.log and /tmp/kpilot.log, to make any
sense of what's going on. The files may be large, so please send them
straight to me, not to the list. And you may want to take a look at them --
they may contain the first lines of your memo's, for example, or some contact
names, and you might want to remove that for privacy reasons.

Are you sure sure sure that you're running the KPilot from the tarball, and
not the old one? What does kpilot --version tell you? The reason I ask is
that the little window with "Waiting for Sync ..." is only present in the old
version, not in the new one. You can tell the new one too, because the UI is
radically different and it has the version number 4.3.0b in red in the splash
screen.

It makes it really clear we need a new tarball. Martin, could you grab
current CVS again? It works for me (tm), even installing files. All tooltips
have moved to whatsthis, some icons have been improved, etc.
