Hello,

i was reading up on webservices yesterday whilst in a very bumpy train,
and this kinda shook up my brain i gues..bear with me ;-)
I haven't been following KitchenSync discussion too closely, but as I
understand it, it's goal is to synch devices with kdepim parts.
What i'd like to see, and maybe i should be on the general KDE
discussion lists for it, is a broad useage of KitchenSync in KDE when
it's done.
KitchenSync could imho be a central place connecting 'things',
everything from a palm to kmail, to .Net's MyFavoriteSites(?) to
Konqueror's bookmark manager. These connections should come as plugins,
from Thingie 1 to KitchenSynch, and from KitchenSynch to Thingie 3.
This would mean you'd have input and output plugins, which would enable
connectors to be added much faster.
I for one would also love if these plugins would support scripting
languages like perl/python etc, since i'm not much of a C++ coder..

I hope i shook at least some braincells,

Maarten
