The measurabel improvement is, that this setting worked
for me better, than the old.

Maybe because artsd uses more time to write into /dev/dsp
than doing the calculate block.
This Patch worked for my XFree 4.0 install, with the other
I had clicks with the new X 4.01 there was no difference
between the two.
