Woo hoo! We have a winner! If only all Windows-vs-Unix-behaviour
arguments could be solved so easily.

"Advanced" applications could implement multiple copy buffers, if the
user chooses to use them. I guess most users wouldn't need them, and so
wouldn't use them. Off the top of my head, the easiest way handle
multiple buffers is to define a command that cycles to the next buffer,
or perhaps use ctrl-1 through 0.
