Sorry, no. It's nice, but it's just not practical at the moment
without hacking lots of apps.

One of these:

o Hope someone who likes the concept and has the necessary time, the
  inclination and CVS access is reading this list.

o Write it yourself and beg a developer to apply your patch.

o Draw a mockup and ask on kde-devel what people think. If someone
  likes it and the core developers don't mind, it might get implemented.
