This error will repeat and repeat. Simply translating all this
Name=, Comment=... after some time one ignores the part
before the "=". The human brain is constructed so, that it ignores
often repeated things.

I propose to avoid the problem by a script which corrects after
the msgmerge all the entries in desktop.po: 

1)
   #,fuzzy
   msgid: "X=..." msgstr "Y=..." 

-> #,fuzzy
   msgid: "X=..." msgstr "X=..."

2)
   msgid: "X=..." msgstr "" 

-> #,fuzzy
   msgid: "X=..." msgstr "X=..."
