I see.  I just installed Krash 1.89 on my machine here to check what was
being done for localization.  I noticed that you now have a 'regional
settings' control panel.  I'm curious about how the localization is
actually implemented but could no find documentation about it.  Is there
any documentation about the way localization is being done in KDE 2?
I'm interested because I'm currently working on a library that allows an
application to change a locale's settings at the system-level, by
generating POSIX comliant locale source file and recompiling them using
localedef.  Maybe KDE 2's regional settings control panel could take
advantage of such a tool so that locale changes could be applied to
system level apps also.  Let me know what you think...
