I have recently installed Kubuntu, it works just fine, i think you should take 
this to an [k]ubuntu support forum (maybe the kubuntu-es spanish support list 
if that exist) since i'm pretty sure there's lots of people out there using 
kubuntu with a spanish keyboard layout.
