As far as I know the approach with sync features of Lokalize is ok.
Only two snags: a) "copy all new translations" is non-revision prone,
or the equivalent to "yes to all"  b)mixing in contributions from two
different translators is a little tricky, but as it is infrequent this
is not a big thing.

I also do not know how does the merge view handles the situation where
the message in the sync file is fuzzy. It fuzzies are ignored, then
the sync catalog should not be msgmerged prior to syncing.


Concerning "KDE translation process", it's more an "every man for
himself", than a fixed workflow (despite I have the impression that
it's only three, maybe four, radically different approaches)
