Not very often. It is used mostly in menu shortcuts (e.g. "Up", "Down",  
"Left", "Right") and error messages (e.g., "Could not find 'djview4'  
executable" from KRunner).

You can easily found the caveats if you move  
/usr/share/locale/da/LC_MESSAGES/kdeqt.mo somewhere.
