No. When creating .po from .pot you (your editor) should fill the header 
and,
among other things, include correct plural forms string.
Please compare your header with one from other files (already commited) for
your language. From the messages before I see the language code is ms,
so I took something from your kdebase:

Here we have:

My good guess is that the line "Plural-Forms" is filled incorrectly or not filled at all.
If you can't get it in your editor, you may simply open it in Kwrite and copy the field manually.
