I tried this script on the fy tree, but it fails (complains that it can't create the \
directory 'messages'.

So i tried to use this script: kdepo2std.pl, and that worked for all files, except \
the desktop-files. To convert those, i tried the script kde3_desktop_convert.pl like \
this:

kde3_desktop_convert.pl desktop_kdelibs.po > desktop_kdelibs4.po

This resulted into 3 errors in the file:

1 - all special characters got corrupted, even if i set utf-8 in konsole
2 - msgctxt and msgid are placed on the same line, resulting in kbabel unable to \
parse the file 3 - not all strings are converted.

Can someone explain how i can convert the desktop files succesfully?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Rinse
