Right, but You can add an additinal doc-path. If you enter the 
normal path, kdevelop will create an index.

btw: In the binary-package of kdevelop for SuSE7.1, the binary 
"kdevelop" is missing. Only "i386-suse-linux-kdevelop" does exist, 
wich works fine. But the menu entry doesn't work ...
