Hrm, if I read your code correctly this is only for the intel processor?
I have a PPC and after I run object prelink on it I get segfaults...

I am looking to see if  I am doing something wrong, but just to make sure, I 
am wondering is this a portable solution?  Also will this work on my True64 
box with Compaq's C++ compiler?
