Hi, 
this is certainly a newbie question, but i couldn't find a response in the Qt 
doc:
I want to use Kde/Qt as front-end for an existing program written in normal 
C++, which uses char* for strings.
QLineEdit.text() returns a QString, how can I convert a QString to char* ?
