Well, our users appreciate native KDE applications because it gives you a 
more consistent desktop and helps to keep your memory usage down. (And for 
that same reason GNOME users will prefer native GNOME applications)

"we" do not decide whether "we" spend valuable developer time on it. Each 
developer decides for him or herself on what things he or she wants to work. 
It's really up to you.

As far as "open-source" ethical is concerned. The right way to proceed is to 
contact the authors and offer them to make a KDE version of the GUI. We might 
be stuck with two different toolkits but open source is all about cooperation 
and re-using each others work. I assume that the UI is only a small part of 
the project.

It's a cool project btw.
