I haven't actually looked at the project, so I could be wrong, but I would 
guess that the program is just a front end and is mostly gui related code.  
All of the actual DVD code probably comes from seperate libraries so it would 
probably be just as easy to write the app from scratch than to port it.  If 
you do want to try to write a DVD program for KDE, why don't you take a look 
at arts, it may be able to integrate with it.
