Subject: no more docking -- a kppp workaround

as of two days ago, changes in kicker have disabled docking. this is
problematic if you use kppp, because once logged on, it's annoying to
hang up -- you have to open a terminal and kill pppd.
but . . .
if you open kppp, click on setup, click on the misc tab, and uncheck
docking, it will simply minimize to the taskbar -- along with a
running total of time online. you can then get it back to log off by
simply clicking on it in the taskbar.
i've actually found that i like this better than docking, because it
lets me have the time online at a glance, which is doesn't when
docked.
