Can you email it to me?  I've been meaning to make KBiff truly asyncronous for
awhile but never got around to it.  If it compiles on all KDE supported
systems, then I'm definitely interested!

Are you absolutely sure that it is the networking code in KBiff doing this?
I'll concede to the non-repaints... but I've never had KBiff hang a logout
session and I use it everyday (obviously)!
