I agree, but the problem is that we rely on Torben for too many things,
and those days it's hard to know what he's doing and when it will be ready.
No offense. This is simply because our master puts too much on his
shoulders :)

Torben, perhaps you could explain to us what is planned as a replacement
for the trader (is it something to be added to kded ?), so that other 
corba-aware developers (like Steffen, Simon, me, and a lot of others) 
can do it (of course with what you started to do
as a starting point, if there is already something on your hdd).

The same about kdesktop : I made libkonq available for it, but can't
integrate it into kdesktop, still vapourware. Is your version useable
already ?
