Ah, I found that I had to comment out some stuff in event.C.  Now it's 
annoying that the panel does not autoraise.  :)

My dream situation would be that the button bar acts like a normal
window and that the taskbar is in the bottom right and always on top.
Hey, I can dream.  :)
