Nope, not at all. Even if it's written down in some linux books as well as in
manuals of some linux distributions and often repeated in the usenet: A
X11 windowmanager has nothing to do with drag and drop. Absolutely nothing.
DnD is purely among the applications. The right place to implement it is
therefore a common library, even better: the widget library.
