I'll take a look at this one and can commit it (if needed) if it's the 
best solution
It seems like kxkb needs big rewrite as problems are piling up, so I 
think I'll be back for that after couple of years of retierement :) but 
big change will come only for KDE4. I hope I'll have enough time to 
spend on this.
Anyway I'll try to take set up 3.5 and check this one.
