Hello, Everyone
Has anyone else seen anything like this on their installations of KDE
from CVS HEAD:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100061
As I stated in my comments, changing the properties of any of the
*.desktop files Through the icon results in extra copies of the icon,
but does not result in an increase of the actual *.desktop files in the
~/Desktop directory. If I edit the *.desktop files using a text editor
(i.e.: not changing them ON the dekstop) everything works like it did
up to about a week ago. Also, like stated in the bug report, when I
delete one of the, let's say eight, icons, the screen goes black
(except for Kicker) and the screen is redrawn correctly.
Also, in the comment that I just added, all (or almost all) the icons
were actually Doubled.
Please add your comments to this bug if you are having the same problem.
Have a Great Day,
Steven P. Ulrick
