with the pty, it should work. kprocess does not buffer anything. btw,
don't expect the output to be line-blocked; if you want certainity, you
have to use kprocio (but then you might really have a problem with
incomplete lines).
maybe the question is output on stderr which goes another route?
strace -ff -s 10000 the entire thing to find out what does actually
arrive at kprocess' gates.
