Hi,

I'm now getting a very similar error from arts and kdelibs when I do a 
make -f Makefile.cvs

From arts:
libqtmcop_la_LDFLAGS: variable `LDFLAGS_AS_NEEDED' is used but 
`LDFLAGS_AS_NEEDED' is undefined

From kdelibs:
AM_LDFLAGS: variable `LDFLAGS_AS_NEEDED' is used but `LDFLAGS_AS_NEEDED' is 
undefined

anyone know whats going on?
