I was talking about NTLM implementation in Mozilla... Isn't konq's engine
mozilla-inspired?

You assume you mean the NTLM (NT LanManager) authentication scheme[1]  (NTPL
is kernel threading stuff)?

In this case: no, not yet. I spoke to the SAMBA guys and it seems possible
to integrate NTLM as an authentication scheme throughout KIO, KDE's IO
subsystem. However, we are currently in deep freeze for KDE 3.2, so even if
somebody wrote a patch (which we would appreciate :), it wouldn't get
unfrozen before KDE 3.2 is tagged and the CVS is open for feature commits
again. See bug #58356 for the current status of this wishlist item.
