IMHO, this whole thread is kind of pointless right now.  The whole GTK thing 
came up because of a misunderstanding, where someone thought the KPilot dev 
was trying to create a dependency on it.  That's already been cleared up by 
now (it was a 'soft' dependency), so why are we still arguing about it?
