Getting ahead of myself, I think you have to work with KDM, not
kcminit. For all I know, KDM should pass whatever tokens the biometric
mouse (or card) handles it to PAM. Or maybe your PAM module would read
the mouse directly, after your users have typed a username and a
password, with no intervention from KDM except a friendly "Put your hand
over the mouse and we'll beam you up" message.
