Very very cool idea!
But why not add this to all screensavers in a generic way : When someone moves
the mouse or key is pressed, a dialogue pops up asking for passwd. To this,
add an option "Post a note". So if someone wants to write a note, (s)he will
simply click on this and add a note. Now to protect the privacy of the user
(to whom the note was written), you could set things up such that when the
user comes and unlocks his/her machine, (s)he'll see the posted note first
(and thus get his/her attention).
Now, if the screensaver is not passwd-protected, then the above dosn't matter
since the person who wants to write a note, can simply add a note to knotes!
