Which i think is a very good thing and why i really dont like 
xscreensaver. I dont want 140 to choose from, especially not since many 
of them are of questionable quality. (not that i could do it any better 
myself, i cant)

And someone else mentioned some technical reasons, like not everyone has 
gtk installed, and even if they do it isnt nice having to use a gtk 
tool to configure a part of the desktop when using kde. I do have gtk 
installed, but that was only to get gimp and xmms.
